WCSS will begin meeting for our next study on September 6, 2023 – March 20, 2024. When in session, the WCSS registration fee is $25 which includes the workbook that we will use.
To obtain more information about our study, please contact Dawn at 512-966-9430.
Our next topic of study, “Come and See - Catholic Bible Study: Romans and Ephesians”, will cover two of Paul’s prison letters. Romans will reveal to us God’s righteousness in His plan of salvation. Ephesians will teach us many moral & ethical behaviors that we should be living as believers.
We will use the Bible, the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and the writings of the popes and the saints to gain an understanding of the Pauline epistles. Hopefully, this study will help to bring alive the Word of God to Catholic ladies of today and to encourage us to let the Scriptures lead us to conversion in our lives and in our hearts.
“I am eager to preach the gospel to you also who are in Rome. For I am not ashamed of the gospel: it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who has faith, to the Jew first and then to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed through faith for faith; as it is written: “He who through faith is righteous shall live.” Romans 1:15-17
