Congratulations! We are glad you are preparing for the Sacrament of Matrimony. Marriage is the spiritual sign of the union of Christ and his Church and a gift from God, to be taken seriously and grounded in faith. The vocation of married life is a beautiful and challenging one that deserves prayerful discernment and committed preparation.
Please do not set a date until you have met with our priest/deacon.

STEPS TO SET A DATE & RESERVE THE CHURCH:- Submit the Marriage Intake Form, and we will contact you for instructions for how to submit paperworks.
- After all the required paperwork is submitted, your first meeting with a priest/deacon will be set up.
- The full church fee and the Wedding Agreement Form must be received in order to secure the date and time for your wedding.
REMAINING STEPS TO PREPARE FOR MARRIAGE:
- Take a premarital assessement (Prepare-Enrich or FOCCUS)
- Meet a sponsor couple for 4-6 sections. Alternatively, you may register and complete one of the following Marriage Preparation programs:
- Online Pre-Cana class at www.catholicmarriageprep.com
- OR, in-person Together in God's Love retreat with the Diocese of Austin
- Register and complete introductory course on Natural Family Planning provided by:
- an online class at www.catholicmarriageprep.com
- OR, the Diocese of Austin
- Submit Affidavits of Free Status. Depending on the circumstances, some couples may need to submit additional documents. If that is the case, you will be informed about them during the meeting with a clergy.
- Plan your wedding liturgy and music.

¡Felicidades! Estamos felices de que ustedes dos se estén preparando para el Sacramento del Matrimonio. El matrimonio es el signo espiritual de la unión de Cristo y su Iglesia y un regalo de Dios que hay que tomar en serio y fundamentar en la fe. La vocación de la vida matrimonial es hermosa y desafiante y merece un discernimiento en oración y una preparación comprometida.
Por favor, no fijen una fecha hasta que se hayan reunido con nuestro sacerdote/diácono.

PASOS PARA FIJAR UNA FECHA Y RESERVAR LA IGLESIA
- Envíe El Formulario de Solicitud para Matrimonio, y nos pondremos en contacto con usted para obtener instrucciones sobre cómo presentar los documentos.
- Después de que todos los documentos requeridos sean enviados, su primera reunión con un sacerdote/diácono será fijada.
- La cuota completa de la iglesia y El Formulario de Acuerdo para la Boda deben ser recibidos con el fin de asegurar la fecha y la hora de su boda.
PASOS RESTANTES PARA PREPARARSE PARA EL MATRIMONIO:
- Tomar una evaluación prematrimonial (Prepare-Enrich o FOCCUS)
- Reunirse con una pareja patrocinadora de 4 a 6 secciones. Alternativamente, usted puede registrarse y completar uno de los siguientes programas de Preparación Matrimonial:

- Inscribirse y completar el curso introductorio sobre Planificación Familiar Natural proporcionado por:

- Presentar Afidavit de Testigo y Libertad para Casarse. Dependiendo de las circunstancias, algunas parejas pueden necesitar presentar documentos adicionales. Si ese es el caso, se les informará sobre ellos durante la reunión con un clérigo.
- Planear la liturgia y la música de su boda.
