Why:
The Guardians of the Garden is a men’s fellowship at St. Helen Catholic Church whose purpose is "To form joyful disciples by awakening Christian courage in men who are created to Know, Love, and Serve Jesus through the Church He founded."
How:
The daily Gospel is our usual launching point and the discussion follows wherever the Holy Spirit leads.
Who:
As Catholic men living in today’s world, we face any number of challenges in carrying out our calling to protect the "gardens" God has placed in our lives: home,
family, community, our Church, and more. Through this fellowship, men support and encourage each other along our journey to the Father "as iron sharpens iron."
When:
We meet twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Thursday at 8:00 pm in St. Rita
Our role model (after Christ himself) is St. Joseph, the guardian and protector of the Holy Family, who surrendered himself to the will of God. More than a prayer group: we find authentic fellowship, challenging study, personal reflection, accountability, and most importantly, a deeper relationship with Christ.
What Gardens in your life are you called to Guard?
