Here at St. Helen we have men who assist the presiding celebrant during Mass. Additionally they help set up the communion cups, bring other liturgical supplies to the altar, guide the younger altar servers if needed, and assist with distribution of Holy Communion at all Liturgies. They also take a role of mentoring the altarservers in this ministry, training others to serve, and cultivating environment where parents can also grow in faith and in fellowship.

This ministry is open to men 18 years of age or older who have received all of their sacraments and are a Catholic in good standing. The adult altar service provides male members of the parish an opportunity to reverently function as lay ministers at the service of the altar.
