In addition to flag football and basketball, last year our school was excited to add volleyball, soccer, and track & field. It was a fantastic year all around and our Lions brought home a couple of soccer trophies to add to our football and PSIA academic trophies. But even more importantly, our student athletes were true models of sportsmanship and character regardless of how the scoreboard read.
For 2010-2011, Coach Wesley Knapek will again be joined by Coach Ray Sanchez for Flag Football, Basketball, Soccer, and Track & Field; and by Coach Kim Knapek for girls' volleyball. The coaches have been working hard to provide the students with the conditioning needed to build on last year's great season. With the opening of our Parish Activity Center, SHCS is looking forward to hosting games on our home campus! Athletic games will be announced on the school’s website as well as in the weekly newsletters sent home through the school office. Go Lions!
To show your Lion Pride, Spirit Wear can be worn on the first Monday of each month. In the case that Spirit Day falls on a holiday, it will be held on the following Monday.
