The St. Helen PTO oversees several committees which are described below. Each committee offers a unique, fun and rewarding way to get involved in our school family. If there is something you would like to volunteer for or if you have any questions, please contact the appropriate committee chair listed below.

Box Tops Committee Karen Mendo
Collects and submits the box tops for rebate for the school.
PTO Room Parent Committee Lydia Gonzalez
Oversees the PTO room parents. The PTO room parents facilitate the flow of information from the PTO to the parents in their classroom about parent breakfasts, lunch duty, festival baskets, and any other PTO functions that should arise.

Teacher Appreciation Day
This will be a luncheon during Catholic schools week, Friday, February 5th.
Uniform Exchange Staci Barger
Coordinates a uniform swap day for parents to exchange used uniforms
Parent Breakfast Room Parents
Parent breakfasts are hosted every other month. Below are the dates for 2010-2011 school year:
September 1st - Pre K and Kinder
November 3rd - 1st and 2nd Grades
January 5th - 3rd and 4th Grades
March 2nd - 5th and 6th Grades
May 4th - 7th and 8th Grades
Lunch Room Tray and Table Cleaning Staci Barger (calendar)
Each parent of a student at St. Helen Catholic School must volunteer for 1 day of Lunch Room duty per child enrolled at St. Helen. Each grade is assigned for a month, and the room mom for that grade will coordinate the volunteer list.
Room Moms Lydia Gonzalez
Works with the teacher and parents of the class to help coordinate events, activities, and other logistics to help with the specific grade.
