    Chapel
  • Where is the Chapel?

In Pawlicki Center, which is next door to the rectory.

  • What do I do when I am at Adoration?

You can pray your favorite prayers silently, read Scripture or other religious materials, talk to Jesus in the silence of your heart, or sit quietly and listen to Our Lord speak to you in your heart. Sometimes you can just sit, close your eyes, and just spend time with Jesus.

  • When can I go to Adoration?

Anytime of the day or night, 7 days a week. In other words, 24/7, including holidays! We suggest you sign up for one Holy Hour a week to ensure that Perpetual Adoration continues at St. Helen. The Blessed Sacrament cannot be left unattended.

  • What happens if I cannot make my Holy Hour because of travel, work, illness, etc?

First you contact your Prayer Partner/s (person/s who adore on the same day/hour you do) to ensure someone will be present. If you have no Prayer Partner, call your Captain or Division Leader. The organizational chart with names and phone numbers is in the Chapel and on the St. Helen's website. We have a large number of Substitutes and a sub can be easily found.

  • What if my Holy Hour ends and the next person does not show up?

Call the Emergency phone numbers posted in the Chapel. Use the phone in the kitchen behind the Chapel. More specific instructions are found in the Chapel.

  • Can anyone come to Adoration (i.e. children, non-Catholics, non-parishioners)?

    Yes, Our Lord welcomes everyone!

  • Can I sign up for any hour I want?

Yes! There is no limit to the number of people who can sign up for any particular hour. The goal is to cover all 168 hours of the week by at least one adorer.

  • Now that Perpetual Adoration has started, will St. Helen's continue the annual 40 Hours Devotion?

Yes, 40 Hours will be held the first week of October each year.

  • We need to learn more about Adoration. Are there any plans for this?

Yes, look for future program times to be announced in the bulletin and online.
